Forever Green's Indrik - Indy
Taken from the owner's description area of his studbook page -"Indy is a large, handsome, confident male with an exuberant personality. He has an exceptionally gentle and loving temperament; is good-natured , friendly to people and dogs alike, outgoing and unafraid. Judges have called Indy "nice type-male, with strong body structure, masculine expression, full mask and great expressive eyes." Indy is a member of the family and likes to be with his "pack members," but also enjoys playing with his four legged friends and going on long walks. Despite his size, no one is gentler with our 22 year old cat than Indy. He looks after her and has even gone outside and brought her back into the house when asked. Indy is an excellent ambassador for the breed and we are fortunate to have him as a member of our family."
Indy is a wonderful male with an ideal temperament. He is a very large and chesty male with an enormous head. He has a very full dark red coat with loads of black tips and a full black mask that extends well above the eyes.
He has made some impressive wins, taking Winners Dog at the LCA National Specialty 2003 in Healdsburg, CA. And at our local NW regional specialties he has taken Winners Dog once and a few Reserve Winners Dog wins. He has 10 points and 2 majors taken all at LCA events.
Indy is a natural at herding. He attended our 2nd Annual Leonberger herding Day and showed amazing talent and instant instinct.
Indy is Category 1 Very Good, OFA hips good, elbows normal, thyroid normal, and CERF normal
