Lovely vom Sissy-Haus "Kajsa"

Welcome to the newest member of the Tir na nOg Leonbergers, Kajsa (pronounced Kai-sa). Kajsa came to us from Hungary. She is a lovely, well balanced puppy with loads of personality. She is one busy little Leo and smart as can be. We expect great things out of her!
So far Kajsa has taken first place in every show she has entered. She has also been Best of Breed Puppy in 6 out of 7 shows! She won Best Baby Puppy at our Northwest Leonberger Club LCA sanctioned regional specialty at Argus Ranch on 3/20/2004. Kajsa has done well in her UKC shows taking several Winners Bitch and Best of Winners. She is currently one win away from her UKC Championship.
At 16 months Kajsa is now Queen of the house! She is a moderate sized but stalky girl. She has a marvelous full coat, a beautiful topline, and great angulation in both the front and rear. Kajsa was blessed with very dark tight eyes and a very nice head. She is very easy to train, picks up things as quick as a Border Collie, but with out all the energy. She is also an excellent herding dog with lots of working potential. Kajsa learned a formal retrieve in just a few tries and with very little training has become one of the best trained dogs in the house. She is just a natural at everything she does. As Kajsa gets older we plan to utilize these talents in water rescue, carting, agility, and maybe even obedience.

The tooth fairy forgot to bring Kajsa a lower P4 tooth so we are no longer showing her in clubs where a missing tooth is a disqualifying fault (LCA, ARBA, IABCA). We are of the believe that entering a dog into a show with a disqualifying fault is unethical, therefore the only shows she will be in and working towards titles in UKC and CKC which both request full dentition but don't DQ missing teeth.
Health Test - At 16 months Kajsa passed her first cardiac screening with the OFA
