The Legend of Tir na nÓg
Tir
na nÓg is the "land of eternal youth & promise" located beneath
the crystal waters of a clear lake. It refers to a magical land in Gaelic
mythology where the trees are always in bloom and there is always a bard to sing
for you, the food is always bountiful and the drink is always flowing,
and, most of all, a place where you'll never grow a day older. Those who visit
may find themselves transformed by the experience.
All Tir na nÓg puppies are named from Celtic Mythology. We also have tried to name all our other dogs from mythology.
Tir na nÓg Leonbergers in on what we lovingly call Tir na nÓg Bog, a small lake on our property. As the morning mist is rising and the birds begin to sing it takes on a very mythical look and feel!
